Born and Raised in Whitehorse, Yukon Brittany Vogt has been a passionate knitter from a young age. Her passion for yarn led her to start hand dying yarn for herself. After her local yarn store asked her to do a wholesale, Crux Fibres was born. Her buisness quickly expanded into creating spinning Batts as well. Her love of Natural fibres has lead Brittany on a journey into the Canadian Wool industry and resulted in the creation of Low Mileage Wool, a small batch breed specific yarn that is traceable to a specific farm in Alberta.
