Jasmine Ahnie was born in Hoboken, NJ, and raised in Brooklyn, NY. From a young age, she was taught to appreciate the arts and particularly showed an interest in acting and dance. As time went on, Jasmine’s interest in acting and dance increased, and she went on to attend John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Georgia where she studied theater and ballet/pointe. It was there that Jasmine’s theater training was developed. She has performed in various theater productions. Her favorite theater role to play was Georgie in Spike Heels during her graduate studies. Jasmine enjoyed playing this character because it was so different from her own character, and she really enjoyed showcasing her comedic and dramatic skills in one role.
